Screwing The Bartender
Today’s post is a very simple thought that may very well lead you to the promised land of traction in your business. I somewhat jokingly call it “Screwing the Bartender”. What the heck am I talking about?
Think about it, if you’re dating the bartender of your local bar what instantly happens to you? Overnight you’re popular, getting invited to parties you’ve never been invited to before, and having access to things, places, and activities that only a few day ago seemed utterly out of reach.
The same is true in business.
In your mind think about the 3 potential customers of your business that are the absolute whales, the “bartenders” of your niche. How can you get a date with them?
This is one of the things that Gary Keller talks about in his book “The One Thing”. This is a domino event that will put your business ok a trajectory of success, just because of one customer.
A quick list of the benefits of landing this type of customer Include:
- Social proof
- Visibility
- Legitimizes business
- High PR links
So go out there, find your bartender and sell the hell out of them. You won’t be sorry you did.
